Market Research Manager

Amanda is responsible for supporting research, intelligence and insights projects for health, wellness and natural products clients. She is a research professional with more than 10 years of experience in the fields of economic consulting, and food systems’ analyses. Additional work includes 5 years of cross-cultural experiences working with international populations abroad (English teacher in Korea and Community Health Educator for Peace Corps Armenia) and in Chicago (cultural arts Program Coordinator for Korean -American and Latino communities).

Amanda merged her passions for building strong communities through improved public health outcomes and her research skills to purse a Master’s in Food Policy from City University London. Through the historical context of global food systems she can help identify practices, procedures, and policies that are disrupting status quo complacency with innovative change such as improved nutrition, environmental standards, and fair wages that represent the forces of the natural products industry. This provides valuable insights to clients to understand both the soft and qualitative strategies that lead to success and differentiation in the market.

Prior to joining the Next Data and Insights team Amanda helped develop content to educate SPINS’ clients on the evolving policy landscape of government, private sector, voluntary standards, and consumer trends that address public health issues, raise awareness, or respond to consumer demands for improved standards and transparency.

Amanda earned a Bachelor’s of American Studies degree from Colorado State University and is elated that her passion for fair and just food systems brought her back to Colorado.
